ESADE Business School -Universidad Ramon Llull

Fall/Spring Semester Program

Barcelona, as a city with an openly Mediterranean spirit, offers a wide range of attractive features that make it a fascinating city to live in. The urban transformation that took place on the occasion of the Olympic Games in 1992 and the spectacular opening up of the city to the sea by means of the creation of 15 km of beaches are the most recent innovations in a city rich in architectural treasures, of which the most outstanding is its Gothic and Modernist heritage, with Gaudí as the central figure.

But in addition to its beauty, Barcelona is a lively and cosmopolitan city. Moreover, as an important industrial and business centre it has managed to retain its welcoming character and its interest in intercultural exchange. These features mean that the city can count on professional activity at the highest level in many sectors. Add to all this its magnificent climate and Barcelona's popularity as a pleasant place to live becomes evident.

ESADE is located in Sant Cugat de Valles, which is about a 45 minute trainride from downtown Barcelona.

  • Mediterranean, with mild winters and hot summers.

  • Mean annual temperature: 16ºC

  • Average annual number of days rain: 88

  • Relative humidity: 70%

  • City population: 1,707,286 inhabitants

  • Metropolitan area population: 4,654,000 inhabitants

Students will directly enroll at ESADE Business School - Universidad Ramon Llull in Barcelona, Spain.

ESADE is a modern, outward-looking academic institution, which contributes to the development of competent, critically minded individuals from its two educational areas: the ESADE Business School and the ESADE Law School. Through its historical links with the corporate world and society, it has become a lively platform for debate and social involvement.

ESADE's Barcelona campus is located in one of the city's most attractive residential areas, just off the Avinguda Diagonal and close to one of the city's university areas. It is within easy reach of the Monastery of Pedralbes, home to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, and the park of the Royal Palace of Pedralbes.
