Program Description:
Singapore is the vibrant and diverse capital of the Republic of Singapore, a small but robust island city-state. Recognized as a top financial hub worldwide, Singapore is a multicultural locale known especially for its free, innovative and competitive business market. Singapore is also an educational center, with its universities hosting thousands of international students each year.

Singapore Management University School of Law, founded in 2007, strives to produce articulate, analytical attorneys with the capacity to think globally. A holistic approach to study offers students a broad array of coursework with an emphasis on international law and the intersection of law with the spheres of business, economics and politics.

Language Abilities:  Courses are offered in English.  No language other than English is required for participation in this program.
 
Availability of Program:  Students may attend in either the fall or spring semesters.  Students may not attend the program during their last semester of law school. 
 
General law courses:  SMU has a law program similar to USD and offers many of the same courses.  Courses are also offered in Chinese Law, EU Law, International Law, International Business and Corporate Law, Intellectual Property and Comparative Law.
