Program Description:
Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina, and is the second-largest metropolitan area in South America. It is the most visited city in South America and the second most visited city across Latin America. As a top tourist destination, Buenos Aires is often referred to as the Paris of South America because of its abundant European style architecture and rich cultural life, with the highest concentration of theatres in the world.

Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) was founded in 1991, with the mission to educate Argentina’s new generation of business, political, academic, and social leaders. UTDT is viewed as one of the premier educational institutions in Latin America. Law courses cover economics, tax and international law, with a special focus on European Union law, civil law and criminal law. Most courses are offered in Spanish.

Language Abilities:  Courses are offered in Spanish only.  Students must be fluent in Spanish to participate in this program.

Availability of Program:  Students may attend in either the fall or spring semesters.  Students may not attend the program during their last semester of law school.
 
Academic Calendar:  The fall term starts the first week of August and goes through the end of November; exams take place in December.  The spring term starts in early March and goes through the end of June; exams take place in July.
 
General Law Courses: Law courses include economics, tax, public policy, and international law.
