Application Fee and Program Deposit

Non-Refundable Application Fee- Upon submission of an application the student agrees to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE $100 application fee.  This will be billed via Student Accounts and should be paid directly to USD.

Non-Refundable Program Deposit- Upon acceptance to the program the student agrees to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE $500 program deposit.  This will be billed via Student Accounts and should be paid directly to USD.

Tuition and Program Fee

Program Fee- This will be billed via Student Accounts and should be paid directly to USD.  The program fee must be paid in full 10 days prior to the program start date and includes:

• Housing accommodations
• Activities/excursions
• Some meals
• International health insurance

Tuition- The student will be billed $1,950 for every 3 units taken during the study abroad program.  This will be billed via Student Accounts and should be paid directly to USD.  All tuition payments must be paid in full 10 days prior to the program start date.

Additional Expenses

The following budget items are for student planning purposes only as they are estimates of additional expenses.  Actual costs could vary greatly depending on the individual student.

• Additional meals: $300
• Local Transportation $100
• Personal expenses: $300
• Roundtrip airfare: $1,200-$1,500
• Chinese Tourist Visa $200
