APPLICATION FEE
Upon submission of an application, the student agrees to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE USD study abroad application fee. This will be billed via USD Student Accounts and should be paid directly to USD. This amount is charged regardless of any application fees paid directly to a host university or program provider. This is due ten days before the program start date.
TUITION
Because this study abroad program is partnered with USD, students will pay USD tuition in order to potentially receive financial aid benefits (please check with USD's Office of Financial Aid). Tuition (12-18 units) is paid directly to USD. Students will be billed via USD Student Accounts. Tuition payment is due in full 10 days prior to the program start date.
ESTIMATED HOUSING & PROGRAM SUPPORT FEES (billed directly by partner abroad)
Housing costs will vary depending on the type of accommodation selected. Students will pay St. Clare's directly for housing and other program support fees.
St. Clare's will bill students directly for a £100 GBP Registration Fee and £500 GBP Housing Deposit at the time of application. The Registration Fee is non-refundable, and the housing deposit is only refundable at the end of the semester barring any housing damages. If you withdraw from the program after being accepted by St. Clare's, the housing deposit is non-refundable.
St. Clare's will also bill students directly for the remainder of the housing costs. These are due 3 weeks before the start of the program. For more information on St. Clare's fees, payment schedule, payment instructions, and refund policy please visit the St. Clare's website.

Additional Estimated Expenses*
The following items are only estimates of additional expenses. These additional expenses could vary greatly depending on the individual student's spending habits, restaurant choices, personal shopping and additional travel plans:

Travel insurance (strongly recommended): This will cover the cost of your flight in the event of an emergency (needing to cancel at the last minute or return home earlier than expected). The price will vary based on the overall cost of your airline ticket. INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE
All students participating in a USD-affiliated study abroad program are covered by USD's comprehensive blanket international insurance through AXA. CANCELLATION POLICY
Students are subject to USD’s Semester Program Cancellation Policy found on the International Center Policies page. Students will also be subject to the partner institution’s cancellation policy.
