Cost Information
All specific cost information for each program can be found by viewing the specific program's online brochure. Included in this brochure is a detailed budget sheet itemizing program costs and specifying payment and billing information. Below are the steps to take in order to view a program's brochure and budget sheet:
- Clink on "Program Seach" in the navigation bar on the left side of this screen.
- Search for program of interest using parameters such as city, country or term (these parameters are provided as drop-down menus on the seach page) and select specific program once search results have been generated.
- Once on the program brochure, click on the "Budget Sheet"
Payment Information & Deadlines
- Billing
All tuition is billed by and paid direclty to the University of San Diego. Depending on the specific program, program fees will be billed either directly by the University of San Diego or by the affiliate institution. All charges billed by the University of San Diego will be posted to the students' account. For payment Information, please visit USD's Student Accounts site. - Payment Deadlines
All charges billed through the University of San Diego are due in full 10 days prior to the program start date. For payment information, please visit USD's Student Accounts site. If a program fee is charged direcly through the affiliate institution, the payment due date will be indicated on the bill. - Financial Aid and Scholarship Refunds
If a student receives financial aid or scholarships that are above and beyond the cost of tuition ($17,000) and the additional program fees associated with their particular study abroad program it is necessary that a student completes the "E-Refund" process by logging into the "MySanDiego" portal. Please note that the student has this login information and will need to complete this process (if applicable) or share the login information with you. Refund Policy for International Studies Abroad Programs
All students enrolled in a USD International Studies Abroad Program are subject to the following USD Refund Policy. Application fees and deposits for all programs are non-refundable unless otherwise noted. All cancellations MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING to the USD International Studies Abroad Office in order for refunds to be issued on remaining refundable fees. Complete payment for all international programs is due to USD 10 days prior to program start date.

Upon written request,
refunds will be issued according to the above schedule by the USD Office of
Student Financial Services. No refunds will be issued on-site at the program
location.
Note: Refund requests due to student financial hardship or medical/family emergency will be handled on a case-by-case basis and will require additional documentation. This decision is made by the Director of International Studies Abroad.
